Lebanon mourns iconic chef Ramzi Choueiri

Lebanon is mourning the loss of its most famous chef, Chef Ramzi Choueiri. Choueiri, known internationally as Chef Ramzi, was a staple of Lebanese daytime television for decades. His fame in Lebanon grew beyond its borders to the wider region and his love for cooking helped popularize Lebanese cuisine around the world. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Joanne Raad, a Lebanese television producer and food blogger, about Chef Ramzi’s cultural impact on Lebanon and beyond.
