Climate change makes drought in the Horn of Africa 100 times more likely, study says

The Horn of Africa has been experiencing the worst drought in decades. It’s left tens of millions of people without enough food. A new study from the World Weather Attribution initiative finds the drought wouldn’t have happened if not for climate change. Climate researcher Mariam Zacchariah from Imperial College London explains to The World’s Marco Werman why these findings are important.
