EU debates use of nuclear as part of renewable energy goals

There are two sides of a debate going on in Brussels today around the EU’s classification of nuclear energy and it is causing an impasse over the bloc’s clean energy future. In one corner, France leads a faction that seeks to include atomic power in the union’s 2030 renewable goals. In the other corner, Austria and Germany are among those opposed. Host Marco Werman speaks to Phillipp Lausberg, an analyst with the European Policy Center, who joined the show from Brussels.
