There are two sides of a debate going on in Brussels today around the EU’s classification of nuclear energy and it is causing an impasse over the bloc’s clean energy future. In one corner, France leads a faction that seeks to include atomic power in the union’s 2030 renewable goals. In the other corner, Austria and Germany are among those opposed.
