Moldova adopts Romanian language in snub to Russia

The government of Moldova has voted to remove the “Moldovan” language from its constitution and enshrine Romanian as the country’s official language in all legislation. Pro-Russian lawmakers in Moldova have condemned the move. They  see it as another attempt by Moldova to move closer to European Union membership. But 80% of Moldovans already speak Romanian, so what’s the issue? The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports
