Inquiry into London metropolitan police yields damning findings

In the UK, Baroness Louise Casey completed her investigation of the London Metropolitan Police Department and the findings were made public on Tuesday. The police force has been in the spotlight ever since Sarah Everard was kidnapped, raped and killed by an officer in 2021. The review said there was institutional racism, misogyny and homophobia within the force.
