Turkey’s Erdoğan faces tough reelection following earthquake

Following the earthquake that devastated parts of Turkey and Syria, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan faced a mountain of criticism for his government’s handling of the disaster. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Gönül Tol, director of the Middle East Institute’s Turkey program, about why Turkish citizens in the country’s southern provinces are upset with Erdogan’s government right now.
