American entomologist Samuel Ramsey studies bees. His discovery of the mechanism by which a mite kills honeybees has earned him an international reputation. And as he tells host Carol Hills, his work on a bee mite endemic to Thailand may help prevent the further die-off of bees in the US when the mite inevitably reaches here.
