Syrian Kurdish forces end coordination with the US

The World

The Syrian Democratic Forces, a majority Kurdish armed group, has announced it has ceased cooperation with the US military in Syria. The announcement comes after the group said it would cease fighting ISIS following threats of a Turkish invasion of the region under their control. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Charles Lister, director of the Syria program at the Middle East Institute, about the consequences of a potential Turkish invasion as well as what this means in the battle against ISIS.
