Survey: Fewer people identify as Christian in the UK

The World

The UK released the results of the 2021 census and the results were not very surprising. For the first time, fewer than half the population of England and Wales described themselves as Christian. The results also showed a decline in those identifying as white. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Abby Day, a professor at Goldsmiths University of London, about the decline in those categories and what it means for the Church of England.
