Some 66 million years ago, an asteroid slammed into Earth, triggering the extinction of dinosaurs, along with a massive tsunami. A new study in the AGU Advances journal says that the asteroid slammed into what is now the Gulf of Mexico, and it tracks, for the first time, how large the tsunami was and how it spread around the world.
