The monkeypox vaccine exists, but global distribution is uneven

A majority of global monkeypox cases are in Europe and America, where vaccines are slowly being rolled out to the most affected groups. However, the continent of Africa has no vaccines, despite being the place with the only recorded monkeypox deaths. To discuss the challenge and importance of vaccine equity, the World’s Carol Hills is joined by Julie Rosenberg, deputy director of the Global Health Delivery Project at Harvard University.
