Poland completes border wall

Poland’s government has completed construction of a wall along 115 miles of its border with Belarus. It was built in response to a Belarusian operation last year that encouraged migrants from the Middle East to cross into the EU at the Polish border. Host Carol Hills speaks with Kalina Czwarnóg of Fundacja Ocalenie about the symbolism and practical impact of Poland’s border wall. Czwarnóg also talks about what humanitarians consider a double standard that welcomes the mostly Christian women and children fleeing the war in Ukraine, but arrests the mostly Muslim men from Middle Eastern countries who try to enter via Belarus.
