Irish travelers face ‘suicide risk’

Suicide rates among Irish travelers are estimated to be seven times higher than in the rest of the population in Ireland.  Earlier this month, Irish media reported that a 12-year-old boy from the community had taken his own life. Traveler groups say the Irish government needs to take responsibility for the mental health crisis facing the country’s indigenous population. The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
