On Wednesday, Neil Young’s music was removed from Spotify. He had given an ultimatum to Spotify that either they remove the popular podcast host Joe Rogan, or he’d pull his music off the platform, over his objection to Rogan’s spread of COVID-19 misinformation, particularly about vaccines. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Valerie Wirtschafter from the Brookings Institution about podcast misinformation, and the unique difficulties of moderating the medium compared to others.
