‘Tug of War’ film looks back at Zanzibar’s colonial past

The World

This month, Zanzibar celebrated the 58th anniversary of its revolution, which toppled the Sultan of Zanzibar shortly after achieving independence from colonial Britain. The World’s Africa Correspondent Halima Gikandi brings us the story.
