Indonesia bans coal exports for first few weeks of 2022

Indonesia, the largest exporter of thermal coal, announced on Jan. 2 that it was banning all exports of coal through the entire month. The government says that due to a shortage, and the coal was needed for domestic power. Ashley Westerman reports that the export ban has had a big impact on other countries in the region, especially the Philippines.
