Japan’s prime minister announced this week the goal of making the country carbon-neutral by 2050. But the legacy of Fukushima, and distrust of nuclear power means the government and the public’s visions of how to get to carbon-neutral may look a whole lot different. The World’s environment editor Carolyn Beeler reports.
