Cuba protests, economic hardship spark debate on US embargo 

During his presidency, Donald Trump reimposed sanctions on Cuba, which already faced an economic embargo by the United States. Many of these factors contributed to current food and medicine shortages on the island. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Cuban American historian, Ada Ferrer, about the impact of the embargo and sanctions on Cuba and President Joe Biden’s approach to the crisis.
