Scientists racing to ID the climate change fingerprints on this week’s heat wave

As people in the cities of Portland, Seattle and Vancouver sweltered early this week, an international group of scientists headquartered in the Netherlands leapt into action to identify the fingerprints of climate change on the heat wave. The World’s Carolyn Beeler speaks to rapid-response scientists working on a study on this heatwave.
