Families turned back at the US southern border

Many families, most from parts of Central America, are being turned back by US officials at the US-Mexico border in the name of a Trump-era policy to block non-US citizens entering the US by land. The World’s Monica Campbell tells the story of one family — a father and his 9-year-old son — who sought asylum and is now in Ciudad Juárez, across from El Paso, Texas, and are unsure what to do next.
