On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden had his first phone call with President Xi Jinping of China. According to the White House, Biden shared his well wishes with the Chinese people on the occasion of Lunar New Year. But the two presidents also spoke about the wide areas of cooperation and contention that make up the US-China relationship, including everything from human rights to climate change.
