Japan lobbies to join the ‘Five Eyes’ spy network

The US and four English-speaking allies have shared intelligence for decades through an alliance called the “Five Eyes.” Other countries have tried to join and been turned away. Now, Japan is making an argument to be the first Asian country to join the world’s biggest espionage network. The World’s Patrick Winn reports.
