The Bangladeshi American population is more than 200,000 strong, and it is making a play for political power in New York — including in the state’s Democratic primary elections happening on Tuesday. WNYC reporter Arun Venugopal gives us a look at a community that is among the nation's most progressive, and with a slate of candidates, is advocating not only for itself but other communities of color as well.
