For years, many prisoners in the US have been segregated by race and ethnicity. That’s starting to change at San Quentin prison in California. The World’s Monica Campbell spoke with a prisoner there, Jesse Vasquez, who talked about how he’s navigated divisions in prison and how hard it is to change.
