Officials in Mexico respond to Wednesday’s Supreme Court ruling that Central American migrants can be barred from seeking asylum in the US. The new rule temporarily forbids asylum applications from migrants who have passed through another country on their way to the US without applying for and being denied asylum there. This puts a lot of pressure on Mexico. Plus, Israelis head to the polls Sept. 17 to decide if they’ll give Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu another term to lead their nation.
