Anne Look covers Senegal for GlobalPost from Dakar. A recent graduate, she has reported on crime and public safety in Chicago, writing extensively on incarceration, violence against women and transient criminal groups targeting senior citizens. Prior to entering journalism, she worked as a photo producer for a large Chicago advertising agency and spent a year in Paris studying history at the Sorbonne and photography at a French atelier.
