Amaris Castillo is a Massachusetts-based journalist and the creator of Bodega Stories, a multimedia project featuring real stories from the corner store. She is a 2017 Adelante Fellow with the International Women's Media Foundation and a past grantee of the International Center for Journalists. Her work has appeared in The Lowell Sun, Bradenton Herald, Tampa Bay Times, Miami Herald, Latina Magazine, Fusion, and more. Castillo holds degrees from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the University of South Florida.
Graff, 23, and Fonseca, 20, together form Dolls Clan, the first feminist graffiti artist duo in Honduras. Since September 2014, the women have used their art tirelessly to promote gender equality in the Central American country known for its high rates of femicide and strict laws on reproductive rights.
