Your Birth Experience is a community project designed to celebrate the different experience parents around the world have when giving birth. By submitting a story, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1) You have the rights to share your story. In other words, it’s yours. You didn’t read it in a book, or hear it from a friend — unless they told you you could share it for them. For a better understanding of copyright, this article from Wikipedia may help.
2) You grant Public Radio International a perpetual, non-exclusive right to make use of your story online, on any radio program it is associated with or in any other medium existing now or that may exist in the future. You further grant Public Radio International the right to make derivatives of your work in association with this project.
3) You understand that PRI will make its best efforts to review submissions before they are published, but you retain all liabilities for any criminal or civil violations that may emerge from the post you have shared. This may include, but is not limited to, any liability that emerges from Section 230 of the Telecommunications Decency Act of 1996 or the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
4) Without limiting in any way the rights you retain to your own story, you agree not to use others' stories for any purpose without the express written consent of Public Radio International. Further, you agree not to try and circumvent any restrictions that may be in place for any stories.
