The shooting happened around 9:55 a.m, according to NBC.  The victim was transported to South Fulton Hospital, but later died due to the wounds.

According to  WXIA, the victim was a 48-year-old church staff member.

Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester told The Associated Press that the suspect got away in a vehicle and is still at large.  The suspect is described as a man in his 30s wearing a suit and tie.

Lester additionally told CNN that the church does have a morning service, but she didn't know if the service was in progress at the time of the shooting.

The megachurch is home to high-profile televangelist, Creflo Dollar. Dollar's message in part is that God promised generosity in this life and that believers can claim it, according to CNN. The church claims to have 30,000 members.
