Colorado murder-suicide leaves 4 dead after frantic 9-1-1 call
Four people are dead today after an apparent murder-suicide in Longmont, Colorado.
Police received a 9-1-1 about 4 a.m. today from a woman who could be heard saying, “No, no, no” before gunshots rang out, The Denver Post reported.
A man then picked up the phone and told a dispatcher he was going to kill himself before another shot could be heard.
“My mom said she was up at about 4,” neighbor Arlette Pixley told the Post.
“She heard a pop, pop, pop, but didn’t think anything of it. … It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood. We usually hear the traffic on the highway.”

Longmont, in Weld County, is about 35 miles north of Denver, The Associated Press reported.
The dead all appear to be adults, although police haven’t released any details except that they might have a motive, the AP said.
One of the victims, a woman, might be in her late teens.
A SWAT team entered the house to find the victims and nobody else home, CNN said.
The dead are two men and two women.
