Bob Marley couldn’t have said it better himself, ‘No woman, no drive’

No Woman, No Drive

If you'll pardon the blatant Jon Stewart rip-off, we'd like to provide you with a quick moment of zen.

This weekend, a handful of women in Saudi Arabia defied a ban on driving and took to the wheel… many posting videos of themselves on YouTube. But what got the biggest response on social media was a video made by a Saudi comedian.

"No Woman, No Drive" has had, by the time of this post, more than three million views on YouTube.

It's a satirical video set to the tune of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry," with the words changed to focus on driving.

It was put together by Hisham Fageeh and a Saudi production house that specialises in online comedy.

Fageeh won't say whether he approves or disapproves of women driving. He would only say, "My philosophy is that you do something you think is funny and hope that other people enjoy it. I'm not aiming to do anything political, just to entertain."
