Vasilis Kostas’ passion for music started early. He grew up in Epirus, in the northwestern region of Greece, and remembers how his grandfather would show up every night to sing local, traditional tunes. Those songs stayed with him, as he learned to play the laouto and began to write songs of his own. They appear in his new album “Léna.”
