This weekend, the world’s largest aircraft carrier arrived in the waters off of Split, Croatia. The USS Gerald R. Ford was pulled from combat operations in the Red Sea, where it was supporting the US war with Iran. It might be championed as the US Navy’s most advanced carrier, but as The World’s Joshua Coe reports, it’s been dealing with some costly backed-up toilets — among other issues.
