Milan, the country’s fashion capital, and Cortina d’Ampezzo, high in the Dolomite mountains, will share hosting duties across a vast area stretching hundreds of miles. But the scale of the event is only one of several challenges facing this year’s Winter Games. The World’s Europe Correspondent Orla Barry reports.
