The country’s leading opposition figure, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, also known as Bobi Wine, went into hiding shortly after the vote count was released. Reached at an undisclosed location, Wine told The World’s Marco Werman he believes Museveni’s “landslide” victory was “fabricated” and that his own situation is “risky.”
