Emergency dental care can be so hard to come by in the UK’s National Health Service that some patients have resorted to pulling out their own teeth. Healthwatch, an independent patient watchdog in the United Kingdom, recently published a report saying people are traveling more than 100 miles, going private or simply going abroad because they cannot get a dental appointment.
