Putin backs idea of ceasefire in Ukraine in principle, but with numerous conditions

Today at a news conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin voiced tentative support for a 30-day ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States and Ukraine. But the Russian leader also made it clear he was in no hurry to agree to it and wanted to continue negotiating on a number of points.
