Life for children across Ukraine changed significantly after Russia’s full-scale invasion three years ago. When air raid sirens go off, students used to be forced to run to bomb shelters. But in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city where air raid sirens are more frequent because of the city’s proximity to the Russian border, things have been different. The World’s Daniel Ofman reports from an underground school in the city.
