The impact of global corruption on battling climate change

The global nongovernmental organization Transparency International has just released its 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). Its findings are sobering: 47 countries out of the 180 it surveyed had their lowest score last year since 2012. What’s more, there’s increasing concern that corruption is adversely affecting efforts to combat climate change. Host Marco Werman speaks with Scott Greytak, the director of advocacy at Transparency International’s US office in Washington.
