A Brazilian judge has ordered that the Adele song “A Million Years Ago” be removed from music streaming services worldwide over a plagiarism claim by Brazilian composer Toninho Geraes. The Brazilian singer claims that Adele’s 2015 hit is a ripoff of his own 1995 bossa nova classic, “Mulheres.” Host Marco Werman plays both recordings, and explains why the court decision may well be challenged.
