Cimafunk: From former medical student to musician

Erik Alejandro Iglesias Rodríguez started out studying medicine in his hometown of Pinar del Río in Cuba. But he dropped out and headed to Havana to pursue a career in music, eventually adopting the name Cimafunk. His change in career has certainly paid off in dividends. Hosts Marco Werman and Carolyn Beeler tell us more as we hear one of this recent tracks, “I Don’t Care.”
