It’s been 10 months since protests erupted in Iran over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. She had been obtained by Tehran’s morality police for wearing “unsuitable attire.” The reaction throughout Iran was massive and the movement inspired Iranian exiles to respond. That includes Iranian Canadian composer Iman Habibi who composed “Zhiân.” The Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform Habibi’s piece for the first time in public this Sunday at Tanglewood, in Lenox, Massachusetts.
