Trump administration’s new university guidelines hit Chinese students hardest

US colleges are bracing for the loss of a lot of foreign students this fall, especially those from China. The new guidelines by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement would require international students in online-only courses to transfer schools or leave the country altogether. Harvard and MIT filed suit against the Trump administration over the measure. There are over one million international students, with nearly 370,000 from China. Host Carol Hills speaks with Frank Wu, president of Queens College in New York, who has written about the US government’s complicated relationship with students from China.
