These Orthodox Chirstians are getting evicted from one of the holiest sites in Ukraine

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, divisions among Orthodox Church communities in Ukraine have sharpened. The divide between the Russian and Ukrainian branches of Orthodox Christianity goes back several years. But now, the Ukrainian government has issued an ultimatum to clergy at one of the most important holy sites in the Orthodox world, the Lavra in Kyiv. They’re being told to leave the monastery by Mar. 29. The World’s Daniel Ofman reports.
