The bridge from ‘Winnie the Pooh’ to be auctioned

A centerpiece from the “Winnie the Pooh” books and animated series is headed for auction. The countryside bridge from the series is a real-life bridge in southern England. Author A. A. Milne, who wrote the books in the 1920s often played with his son at the bridge. Later, it became a regular setting for the adventures of Pooh and his animal friends. The original bridge has been dismantled and stored in southern England, and has now been fully restored ahead of the auction next week.
