Kenya expands COVID-19 vaccine rollout amid global shortages

Since the arrival of its first batch of COVID-19 vaccines last month, Kenya has been rushing to vaccinate its front-line workers amid a deadly third wave. So far, the country has vaccinated a small fraction of Kenyans. Along with a global vaccine shortage, officials are encountering vaccine hesitancy among some, and barriers to vaccination for others. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports from Nairobi.
