The Biden administration has tasked the Departments of Defense, State, Justice, Commerce and the Treasury to try to limit Iran’s access to Western technologies used in drones. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Dmitri Alperovitch, chairman of the Silverado Policy Accelerator, a Washington, DC, think tank, about the ease with which US adversaries can access components made by US and Western companies, as Iran has done in assembling drones used by Russia in its war against Ukraine.
