Interfaith gathering in Chicago aims to address the global rise of authoritarianism

The Parliament of the World’s Religions describes itself as the largest and most inclusive global interfaith event. The history of it goes back to the late 1800s. This year, members of many different faiths around the world convened to talk about confronting what they see as an existential threat: the rise of authoritarianism.
