Indonesian islanders seek climate reparations from global cement corporation

Pari Island in Indonesia is tiny. It’s smaller than New York’s Central Park and getting smaller every year as sea levels rise and waves wash away islanders’ homes. In an experimental lawsuit, four people from the island are suing Holcim, the world’s largest cement maker. As The World’s Patrick Winn reports, it’s one of a growing number of lawsuits aimed at holding corporations responsible for their contributions to climate change.
