As the world was recovering from The Great Recession a few years back, French economist Thomas Piketty wrote a book on income inequality. “Capital in the 21st Century” reached No. 1 on the New York Times’ bestseller list. He has got a new book out called, “Capital and Ideology.” Its release comes at a time when the coronavirus  pandemic is highlighting global economic inequality. Marco Werman speaks to Piketty.
